May 25 has been observed as National Missing Children's Day since it was
first proclaimed by President Ronald Reagan in 1983. This year will be the
25th National Missing
Children's Day . According to the IDC, there were over 60 billion daily
e-mail messages sent last
year, and that is not including spam and junk e-mails. Rolv E.
Heggenhougen, Founder and CEO of WrapMail , states, "These e-mails, which are
seen by billions of people every day, can be one of our most valuable tools
in the fight against child abductions. When an Amber Alert goes out, more
people can see the Alert and sooner, because it will be wrapped around the
e-mail that they were already reading. This may help authorities find
missing children faster."
Parents of missing children can also use MyWrapMail
( http://www.mywrapmail.com ), WrapMail's FREE e-mail service, to create a
Wrap with pictures of the missing child and links. By
using MyWrapMail as their primary e-mail service, every e-mail they send
(e-mails they would send anyway) will add to the exposure of their missing
child.
