NEW YORK -- Today marks the re-launch of PRWeek's companion website, PRWeek.com.
As a result, access to the entire website will be free until October 31. After October 31, non-subscribers will be able to read the homepage, but only PRWeek subscribers will be granted full access to the site, after creating passwords and providing e-mail addresses for their user names.
Its new features include: RSS feeds, which allow the reader to get tailored, instant news updates; a frequently updated news briefs section, which will serve as a quick information outlet for new hires, marcomms holding company financials, and account wins; and an updated search engine, which allows the reader to easily locate articles according to industry, discipline, or magazine section.
"This website relaunch furthers PRWeek's commitment to providing timely PR news and commentary to our online audience," said PRWeek.com editor Keith O'Brien. "By providing RSS feeds and sector-specific sections, we've increased the ways you can access our content online."
The new website also allows users to sign up for healthcare, consumer, and technology newsletters. The improved PRWeek Awards archive allows users to search easily for this and the previous year's award finalists and winners. PDFs for of all the surveys, supplements, and specials PRWeek has produced since 2001 are available on the site as well.
In addition, the new PRWeekJobs.com allows job seekers to post resumes and search through hundreds of jobs, while employers can post jobs and search the resumes of potential candidates.
