The new server offers SharePoint Team Portal integration, group clippings, better article and feed searching, and feed creation from e-mail.
The group clippings feature allows members of a feed group to comment on specific feed items and then turn those comments into a separate feed.
Users can access feeds via a Web interface or through Microsoft Outlook. They can search internal and external feeds by keyword and set up "SmartFeed" keyword searches for content.
