Under the terms of the deal, KnowNow will license PubSub's prospective search subscription services for commercial use in KnowNow's KnowNow 3 Enterprise Syndication Solution (ESS), giving KnowNow's enterprise customers premium, controlled access to non-traditional outside sources of information and the blogosphere.
KnowNow customers get a scaleable enterprise RSS aggregator that delivers immediately actionable news feeds, blog content and critical communications to desktops without polling or client-side software installation. When coupled with PubSub's premium prospective search subscriptions, ESS provides a managed, secure environment for all business information needs, including intranet content, outside news and information sources and zero-latency PubSub feeds. ESS with PubSub's prospective search goes live right out of the box to improve and enhance information flow between employees, customers and business partners.
